Chicago
Two weeks ago (can it already be that long ago?), I had an all too short, but very sweet, visit with my dear friend, Jeff Boice, in Chicago and Evanston, where Jeff lives. We did a lot of hanging out, watching good movies, listening to good music, eating good food and catching up on all the things that get left out of emails.
Jeff also showed me around Evanston, a lovely town with beautiful old homes and tree lined streets, not to mention one of the best populated restaurant communities I've seen in a while. Lots of good choices.
On Friday, we drove down to Chicago, to visit Millennium Park, the Chicago Museum of Art and see the skyline. Amazing sights. Jeff has also lived in Boston and Seattle, both of which have gorgeous water front city views, but Jeff thinks Chicago is his favorite. I have to agree.
I'm afraid I wasn't wearing my photographer's hat while we were driving around, and didn't even have my camera around town in Evanston or when we saw the Chicago skyline lit up at night. I did manage a few snapshots which trigger some of the great memories I have.
Thanks again, Jeff. It was wonderful.

Jeff has more photos of Millennium Park and Da Bean at his Little Delving site (The Gallery > The Magic Bean!).
